About us
Meet the designer
Lana is a garden designer and horticulturist.
She studied Horticulture at Penn State University and is a Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturist.
While at Penn State, Lana researched native plant species and how they contribute to our Pennsylvania ecosystem. After working in Philadelphia public gardens and farms, she decided to go off on her own as a private gardener.
In 2020, EcoGardens was born with the intention of using native plants in a cottage garden style that is low-maintenance and desirable to homeowners.

Wolfgang is our tree and woody plant expert.
He is a certified arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture.
Wolfgang specializes in tree pruning and trimming.

Meet the crew

We usually work in groups of 2 or 3 at a time on a given property. Our crew is meticulous, detail oriented, and well-trained.
